Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced today that Xiaomis self-developed 3nm mobile processor, the Xuanjie O1 (Xring O1), will debut this Thursday. Built on TSMCs second-generation 3nm process (N3E) and packing 19 billion transistors, the chip is said to deliver performance comparable to Apples A18 Pro and Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This milestone marks the first time a mainland Chinese company has achieved 3nm chip design capabilities, making Xiaomi the worlds fourth firm after Apple, Qualcomm, and MediaTek with independently developed 3nm mobile processor technology. On this Thursday, Xiaomis 15th Anniversary Event will feature the unveiling of the Xuanjie O1 chip, the flagship Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, and the new Xiaomi YU7.
