The Maneki-neko is a limited-time Uncommon pet available during the Corrupted Event. Every 2 minutes and 22 seconds, it sends out waves and invites good fortune, granting an 8.15% chance to refund fruits back into the players inventory for 10 seconds.

You can get the Maneki-neko only during the limited-time Corrupted Event, and its available through two types of chests. The first is the Kitsune Chest, which offers a 34.5% chance to obtain the Maneki-neko.

How to Get the Kitsune Chest:

  • Head to the Kitsune NPC in the center of the map.
  • Submit 5 Tranquil and 5 Corrupt mutated fruits.
  • Mutated fruits that have both traits count for both gauges.
  • Once both gauges are full, youll receive a Kitsune Chest.

The second option is the Exotic Kitsune Chest, which can only be purchased with Robux. This chest has a 34% chance of granting the Maneki-neko. Its priced at 199 Robux for 1 chest, 575 Robux for 3, and 1,699 Robux for 10.

Maneki-neko in Grow a Garden is an uncommon-tier pet with a passive ability called Fortune Cat, which activates automatically:

  • Duration: 10 seconds
  • Cooldown: Every 2 minutes and 22 seconds
  • Effect: During this time, any fruits you sell have a chance to be refunded to your inventory.
    • Refund Chance: ~8% (up to 8.15%)
    • Note: Rarer fruits have a significantly lower chance of being refunded. You still receive the full sale value even if the fruit is refunded.
