Shannon Sharpe has not been seen in an ESPN studio since April, and it looks like he won't be back.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer has been off the air since the Spring, following an ongoing lawsuit, but it now appears a decision has been made over his immediate future with the network.

Sharpe's ex-girlfriend had accused him of sexual assault in a lawsuit seeking $50million.
Sharpe vehemently denied the claims when responding to the accusations, which he described as 'false and disruptive'.
The plantiff's lawyer, Tony Buzbee, released a statement via social media on July 18 saying that the lawsuit had been resolved, with no details released on the settlement.

The three-time Super Bowl winner announced that he was stepping away from ESPN, back in April, vowing to return for NFL preseason.
"I will be devoting this time to my family, and responding and dealing with these false and disruptive allegations set against me," Sharpe said.
"I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL pre-season."
However, while ESPN and Sharpe are yet to comment, per Marchand's report, he will now not return.
"Sharpe has not been on ESPN since late April, when the suit was first filed," Marchand reported.
"He said at the time that he would return to ESPN at the beginning of NFL training camp. ESPN declined to comment.

"Sharpe publicly denied the allegations immediately after his accuser filed the suit in April, calling the case a 'shakedown' attempt. He has maintained that he and the Nevada woman were in a consensual sexual relationship."
Sharpe's media career has taken off to extraordinary heights over the years, with his first big break coming on FS1's 'Undisputed', where he teamed up with Skip Bayless.
He then joined ESPN and Stephen A. Smith's First Take, while putting out two podcasts 'Club Shay Shay' and 'Nightcap,' with his co- host Chad Ochocinco.
As football season nears, it will be worth noting what Sharpe decides to do.
While that is unclear for now, what is crystal clear, is that we now know he won't be back at ESPN.
