Liverpool have a new transfer proposal for Alexander Isak ready to be submitted after their first bid of 110m was rejected by Newcastle.
The Reds are keen to recruit the Sweden international striker, despite already signing Hugo Ekitike in a 79m deal from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Isak, who scored 23 Premier League goals last term, has told Newcastle that he wants to leave before the summer window closes on September 1.
The 25-year-old, who is under contract with Newcastle until 2028, was recently spotted training alone at his former club Real Sociedad.
Newcastle have slapped a 150m price tag on Isak who wants to join Premier League champions Liverpool, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has told his former club to walk away from a messy transfer deal to sign Isak this summer.
Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Carragher said: He (Isak) will be an amazing signing but from a fans point of view for myself, I dont want Liverpool to spend 150m on Isak.
Theres something about Liverpool buying another striker (Ekitike), and hes backup. Something about it doesnt feel right to me.
I look at Isak, and hes obviously thrown his toys out the pram once Arsenal signed a striker and Liverpool signed a striker. It feels a bit messy to me now.
