This was made known in a statement released on Tuesday by the Governors Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor.
According to him, Governor Nwifuru directed all affected officials to return to their duties immediately.
The suspension, which was announced on July 28, 2025, involved a wide range of top government personnel, including the states Attorney General, 25 commissioners, 22 permanent secretaries, 14 senior special assistants, and 24 special assistants.
This came after they failed to attend a key government event, prompting Governor Nwifuru to place them on a one-month working suspension without pay.
During that period, they were barred from signing any government documents or carrying out core administrative functions.
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2024, Governor Francis Nwifuru also suspended two commissioners over allegations of misconduct and neglecting their duties.
