The All Progressives Congress (APC) Students League has congratulated Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori on his appointment as the new National Chairman of the party, while also paying tribute to the outgoing chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje.
In a statement issued from its national secretariat on June 27, 2025, and signed by the leagues National President, Comrade Endwell C. Otonnah, the group expressed full confidence in Daloris leadership abilities.
The statement recalled Daloris political journey, which began in 1991 as a ward councillor. He went on to serve as Chairman of Konduga Local Government Area under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the Babangida transition era. He later became a member of the Borno State House of Assembly under the ANPP, Chairman of the APC in Borno State, and Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC.
We are confident in his capacity to lead with integrity, unity, and purpose, as we continue to advance the vision and ideals of the APC across all levels, the statement read.
The APC Students League also acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Umar Ganduje, who recently stepped down from his position as APC National Chairman.
His tenure was distinguished by resilience, dedication, and strategic leadership, which greatly contributed to the growth and stability of the APC, the league noted.
They thanked Ganduje for his service and wished him success in his future pursuits.
The student body pledged its commitment to work closely with the new national chairman to enhance youth engagement, promote student participation, and contribute to national development.
