Malek Almoosa, CEO of Almoosa Health Group, said the company witnessed broad-based growth in the performance of various medical sections during the second quarter of 2025, backed by continued strategic expansion and improvements to its integrated healthcare delivery model.
He told Argaam , during a meeting with analysts and investors, that the growth was not limited to a specific section, but rather included surgery, primary care, rehabilitation, hematology, oncology, neurosciences, and orthopedics. "This diversity of services contributed to bolstering the company's overall performance during the period, he said.
"Julythe first month of the third quarterwitnessed strong performance, particularly in the rehabilitation sector. Utilization rates in the surgery section and the number of patients also increased, with no impact from the summer vacation season, which reinforces expectations for positive results during the third quarter," Almoosa further stated.
The number of inpatients increased by 15.4% to 10,000, while outpatient clinics recorded a 13.2% growth to 287,100 visits during the second quarter of 2025, he added.
The CEO also highlighted that the company is continuing to implement its expansion plans, as it opened the Nakheel Medical Center in Al-Ahsa in July 2025, which features 37 clinics with a built-up area of 6,100 square meters. He added that work is also underway on the Aziziyah Medical Center in Al-Khobar and the Salmaniya Medical Center in Al-Ahsa.
